As a Crane Operator, you are indispensable on the terminal

You keep an overview, work accurately and make sure loading and unloading runs smoothly.

In the hectic pace of the logistics process, you stay sharp and focused — and the results of your work are visible directly, every day.

What will you be doing?

Your day on the terminal

You are responsible for loading and unloading containers onto ships using the gantry crane. We aim to make you more broadly deployable over time — on machines such as a reach stacker and empty handler — so that variety remains in your work and you can continue to grow.

  • Safely and efficiently loading and unloading containers with the gantry crane
  • Maintaining overview of the container stack and setting priorities
  • Liaising with skippers and colleagues for smooth throughput
  • Working according to safety regulations and procedures — always and without exception
  • Switching quickly within a dynamic terminal environment

What do we ask of you?

You stay calm under pressure and have a sharp eye for safety.

  • Experience as a crane operator or in a similar role
  • At least MBO working and thinking level
  • Sharp eye for safety, accuracy and overview
  • Independent, calm under pressure and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Flexible with a 2-shift rota, including an average of 2 weekend days per 4 weeks
  • Good command of the Dutch language
